Kores Estate EVOO: WBT Morning Break with Heidi Billotto
Share

We are proud to share that our Kores Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil was featured on Morning Break on WBT TV in Charlotte, thanks to the wonderful food and travel writer Heidi Billotto.
Heidi is passionate about locally sourced, handcrafted ingredients and the stories behind them. She has spent years exploring food culture across the Carolinas and beyond, championing the farmers, makers, and importers who bring exceptional products to the table. She has built a loyal following around her belief that great food starts with great ingredients. When she reaches for an oil on camera, it means something.
For this segment, Heidi cooked a Pot Roast with NC Grassfed Beef, with our Kores Estate EVOO prominently featured throughout. She highlighted what makes our oil so distinctive — that it comes from a single estate in Greece, grown from a single variety of olive, the Manaki. Single estate means full traceability. Single variety means a consistent, pure flavor profile you simply cannot get from a blended oil. It is the kind of detail that resonates with an audience that cares about what they put on their plate.

Pot roast is a dish built on patience and quality. The right fat makes all the difference. A good extra virgin olive oil adds depth and richness that carries through the long, slow cook. Heidi knows this, and her choice to feature our oil was no accident.
Our cold-pressed Manaki extra virgin olive oil comes from the Kores Estate in the Argolis region of Greece, a family farm that has been producing olives for generations. The olives are pressed within hours of harvest to lock in every drop of flavor and nutrition. No blending, no shortcuts. Just a single-estate oil with real provenance and real taste.
We are grateful to Heidi for sharing our story with her audience and for cooking with the same care and intention that goes into every bottle we import.
